THE KUALA LUMPUR GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB TRIUMPHS AT HAPA MALAYSIA SERIES 2023-2024
KUALA LUMPUR, 10 May 2023 – Malaysia’s premier golf and country club, Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (“KLGCC” or “Club”) is ecstatic to announce its recent wins at the esteemed Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards Malaysia Series 2023-2024 (“HAPA Malaysia”).
KLGCC bagged the Best Tourism Destinations award as well as the HAPA Resilience Award for its West Course. The accomplishments demonstrate the Club's capacity to turn the tide during the pandemic and highlight its unwavering dedication to excellence in offering members and guests top-notch services and experiences.

Most recently, the Club was recognised as one of the top three best championship courses in the Asia Pacific region, receiving the Best Championship Course in Asia Pacific – Bronze category at the Asian Golf Awards 2022 in Vietnam.
The award-winning West Course, selected as the winner through a voting process by the HAPA committee, has proudly hosted a number of international tournaments, including the CIMB Classic (2013-2018) and Maybank Malaysian Open (2010-2015).
Several elite professional golfers, including Phil Mickelson, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler, have graced KLGCC during PGA TOUR and PGA European Tour championships. KLGCC is also set to host the Maybank Championship 2023, sanctioned by the Ladies Professional Golf Association (“LPGA”) Tour tournament which will be held in October this year.
