KUALA LUMPUR, 15 November 2022 – The Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (“KLGCC”) continues to draw industry acclaim as its West Course is once again recognised as the best golf course in Malaysia by the Top 100 Golf Courses‘ recently-published ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in Asia 2022’ list.
KLGCC ranked first among the only five Malaysia-based clubs to make the prestigious list and was also honoured as the 20th best golf club in Asia, solidifying its standing as one of the region’s premier golf destinations.
The award-winning West Course, which was selected as a winner through a voting process, has proudly hosted a number of international tournaments including the CIMB Classic (2013-2018) and Maybank Malaysian Open (2010-2015). Several elite, professional golfers including Phil Mickelson, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler have graced KLGCC during the PGA TOUR and PGA European Tour championships.

Most recently, KLGCC was recognised as one of the top three best championship courses in Asia Pacific, receiving the Best Championship Course in Asia Pacific – Bronze category at the Asian Golf Awards 2022 in Vietnam.
